it's been awhile - and a busy while to say the least. we started our preseason on the 15th, and ever since then it's been chaos. i can honestly say i LOVE my job. i work with some of the nicest kids around. they are competitive and constantly are striving to get better. our season gets underway this week and it's going to be so fun. we have a lot to work on before we start conference matches, 5 teams from our conference we ranked in the top 25 of the preseason poll. awesome news for our conference, but it's time for us to surprise some people.
other than volleyball, nothing else is really new. i am starting to miss my friends from Springfield, but that just means i have to visit more often. and i can't wait to see my nieces and new baby b soon! can't wait to see my sisters baby belly soon, and can't wait to learn what baby is!

I'm an author and would like to write a book to help Joplin raise money. This would be my first attempt at a non-fiction book, and I'm quite excited about it. I'd like to include in it the first hand experiences of a dozen or so Joplin residences. Would you be willing to talk to me? I'd need about an hour of your time on the phone, and perhaps a few follow up calls/emails.
